Tommy Bright

Tommy Bright is a PhD student at Cardiff Metropolitan University where he is researching the effects of eccentric resistance training in youth athlete populations. He is also a lecturer in Sport and Exercise Science at Plymouth Marjon University and a Strength and Conditioning consultant for Tournament Golf College. Tommy has previously worked at the University of Portland in the USA as a Strength and Conditioning coach and has extensive experience across a range of sports. He enjoys utilising his scientific background to seamlessly connect theory and practice. Alongside his PhD, Tommy’s research interests include the mechanical demands of athlete performance and training and monitoring practices in youth football.
