Jon Hernandez is the Director of Rehabilitation at the Los Angeles Rams, where he leads return-to-performance and long-term rehabilitation strategies and works across sports medicine and performance to support player health and workload management.
Before joining the Rams, Jon worked as a Physical Therapist/Assistant Athletic Trainer with the Buffalo Bills, having originally entered the NFL as a summer intern with the Carolina Panthers. He earned his BSc in Athletic Training from the University of Delaware, before completing his Doctorate of Physical Therapy and Sports Residency at the University of Southern California.
His speciality is sports rehabilitation, return to performance, movement analysis and injury management, with particular experience bridging rehabilitation and performance in elite American football. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS).
