OAXIS Train & Recover

Julio Caballero López is a physiotherapist and PhD in Biomedicine and Health Sciences. He has extensive experience in musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation, having worked for 7 years at Clínica CEMTRO (Madrid), a leading center specialized in trauma physiotherapy and high-performance athletes. He has also gained international experience in the United States (Miami), where he worked in a clinical setting as Director of Research and Development, contributing to innovation projects and the application of scientific evidence into clinical practice. His approach is strongly evidence-based, integrating therapeutic exercise and manual therapy as the main pillars of rehabilitation and return-to-performance processes. His main interest lies in the transition from rehabilitation to sports performance, optimizing functional recovery and reducing reinjury risk through objective, criteria-based decision making. He is also interested in performance and health optimization strategies, including lifestyle interventions, recovery methods, and their potential impact on human performance (“biohacking” within a scientific and clinical context). Currently, he combines clinical practice with teaching and scientific dissemination, contributing to publications, educational programs, and projects aimed at improving standards in physiotherapy and sports science
