Andrew Langford is a leading High-Performance Consultant and currently serves as the Founder and Director of the International Universities Strength and Conditioning Association (IUSCA). With a background as a professional basketball athlete, Andrew has transitioned into a key figure in sports performance, previously collaborating with renowned international entities such as Great Britain Basketball, England Basketball, and GB Ski and Snowboard. His expertise also extends to advisory roles for various professional sports teams and elite organizations.
Notably, he is also at the forefront of strength and conditioning (S&C) support for boxing World Champion, Josh Warrington. Holding a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a master’s degree in Sport & Exercise Physiology, Andrew is accredited by the IUSCA and holds the distinction of Master International Strength and Conditioning Practitioner (mISCP). He applies a scientifically rigorous approach to developing and implementing performance infrastructures, strategies, and key performance indicators (KPIs). His methodologies are rooted in science, utilising ‘first principle’ thinking, to foster high-performance environments that deliver measurable results.
