Dustin has been working as a sports physiotherapist for the last 15 years after graduating from the University of Cape Town with a bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy.
He also obtained a Masters in Physiotherapy with a special focus in “recovery strategies in football” and “sleep interventions to improve recovery and performance”.
He has a passion for working with sports teams and over the years has assisted multiple events including the FIFA world cup, IAAF athletics, gymnastics world cup and was head physio for Ajax Cape Town FC.
For the last 7 years at ASPETAR Sports and Orthopaedic Hospital in Doha, Qatar, his main focus has been working with ACLR athletes to help them return back to play in the best possible condition. Working with a team of highly experienced therapists and a world class assessment centre, we have managed to successfully return 100’s of athletes back to the field and continuously published research from our findings and best practices. As an avid sports fan and amateur triathlete, footballer, padel player and sub par golfer, Dustin loves to connect with people from around the world and is always up for new challenges and learning experiences.
