Soham Desai is an experienced high performance coach with over a decade of work at the highest levels of elite sport. Most recently, he served as the Lead S&C Coach for the Indian Men’s Cricket Team, playing a key role in their T20 World Cup 2024 and Champions Trophy 2025 wins. His career spans international cricket, football, and athletics, with a proven track record in building robust performance systems, managing injury risk, and enhancing athlete readiness across high-pressure global events. Soham’s coaching philosophy is simple yet powerful: “Coach the person, train the athlete.” He emphasizes movement mastery, self-awareness, and sustainable high performance—rooted in objective data, coaching instinct, and a human-first approach. He has worked across India’s national pathways, from the National Cricket Academy to full international tours, and has led return-to-play and rehab protocols for centrally contracted athletes. Soham is ASCC-accredited (UKSCA), CSCS-certified (NSCA), and a Hintsa-trained performance coach. He holds a Master’s degree in Performance Coaching from Setanta College (Ireland) and has been mentored by industry leaders like Des Ryan and Shanker Basu. Beyond sport, Soham is involved in spiritual education, leadership development, and regularly contributes to forums on resilience and conscious coaching. Currently transitioning into digital mentorship and education, he continues to inspire coaches and athletes through practical insights drawn from his years at the elite level.
