Nikolaos Asimakidis is currently a First Team Sports Scientist at AC Sparta Prague and holds a PhD from Middlesex University, London. His research focuses on fitness testing, athlete monitoring, data analysis, and data reporting in elite soccer, with a particular interest in translating research into practical solutions for high-performance environments. Nikolaos holds both the CSCS and CPSS certifications through the NSCA. Prior to joining AC Sparta Prague, Nikolaos spent three and a half years at Ipswich Town FC, working in the academy environment. He has also gained experience in strength and conditioning and sports science roles across Germany and Greece.
