Matt Tuttle is a high-performance leader, sports scientist, and physical therapist with over a decade of experience integrating medicine, performance, and innovation across elite sport and human performance environments. He has worked extensively in the NBA, MLS, and NWSL, currently serving as the Medical and Performance Consultant for the Charlotte Hornets after spending time as the Director of Sports Medicine for the club. Previously serving as the Head of Soccer Medicine and Performance for the New York Red Bulls and the Director of Sports Science for the Denver Nuggets. Matt is currently completing his PhD in Sports Science, where his research focuses on external workload in NBA games. Across his career, Matt has built and led integrated teams of physicians, therapists, scientists, strength coaches, and performance specialists. He is known for creating systems that align medical care, sports science, and training around a central philosophy: that high performance thrives when medicine, nutrition, science, and communication coexist seamlessly.
