Joey Guarascio became a part of the Florida Atlantic University athletics staff in 2020, taking on the role of Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the football program. Prior to this, Joey contributed significantly at Ole Miss as the Assistant Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, playing a pivotal role in propelling the football team to prestigious New Year’s Six bowl games, including the 2014 Peach Bowl and the 2016 Sugar Bowl. Additionally, he spearheaded the development programs for the Rebels’ pro day and their athletes’ NFL combine training. Guarascio’s initial steps in his career were as a graduate assistant at NSU, followed by internships at Florida Atlantic and LSU.
