Jace Delaney’s current position is the Director of Sports Science and Athletic Development with the Boston Celtics in the NBA, a role which he has held since 2019. In this role, Jace oversees the delivery of the team’s sports science and strength and conditioning programs. Prior to that, Jace was the Director of Performance and Sports Science at the University of Oregon, where he spent 3 years delivering the school sports science program across the school’s 18 sporting teams. Jace began his career with the Newcastle Knights in Australia where he worked as a sports scientist whilst completing his PhD, focusing on the application of sports science in professional rugby league.
