Adam Mattiussi is the Women’s Athletic Performance Manager at England Rugby, with responsibility across the Red Roses, U23, U18 and PDG pathways, as well as Premiership Women’s Rugby. He previously worked at the UK Sports Institute as Human Performance Lead within the Intensive Rehabilitation Unit, and as an S&C Technical Lead, supporting the British high-performance system ahead of Paris and Milano-Cortina. During this period, he also worked for Team GB at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games as a HQ Physical Preparation Coach embedded in the Performance Lodge. Earlier in his career, Adam worked at the Royal Ballet School and The Royal Ballet, where he also completed his PhD focusing on epidemiology, isometric strength assessment, and lower-limb biomechanics.
