Jazz Sodhi is the Head of Academy Sports Science and Medicine at Aston Villa Football Club, where he leads the multidisciplinary performance, medical, rehabilitation, nutrition, psychology, and athletic development provision across the club’s Category One Academy. With more than two decades of experience in elite sport, Jazz has worked across academy, first-team, and higher education environments, developing evidence-based systems that support player health, performance, and long-term athletic development.
Prior to joining Aston Villa in 2017, Jazz held senior physiotherapy and performance roles at Wolverhampton Wanderers, including Head Academy Physiotherapist and First Team Physiotherapist. Alongside his work in professional football, he has lectured in sports medicine and physiotherapy, contributing to the development of future practitioners within the industry.
