Nicholas Cowley is currently a PhD Candidate at Australian Catholic University. He previously completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science (Honours) in 2023. Embedded within the SPRINT Research Centre, his thesis investigates advanced methods of resistance training for strength and power development. Nicholas’ research focuses on optimising gym practices to manage individual readiness and performance, with previous involvement in work investigating autoregulation and the effect of feedback during training.
