Lucas Galmiche is a French Sports Scientist and Client Success Manager at VALD Performance, where he provides scientific support and education to elite sports teams, high-performance centers, universities, and hospitals across Europe. Alongside his industry role, Lucas is pursuing a PhD in Sports Biomechanics at the German Sport University Cologne. His research focuses on the biomechanical implications of curvilinear deceleration on knee joint loading, aiming to enhance the understanding of non-contact ACL injuries in multidirectional sports. His work seeks to bridge the gap between research and practice by developing actionable assessments for performance and rehabilitation professionals. Committed to knowledge-sharing, Lucas serves as a guest lecturer at the University of Lorraine, teaching practitioners how to integrate sports technology – such as force plates, dynamometry, and movement analysis – into athlete monitoring and injury mitigation strategies.
