Lassi Laakso is currently the Head of Strength and Conditioning for Hockey Club Lugano in Switzerland. He has been a Strength and Conditioning coach since 2009, after having played professional ice hockey for 8 years. Lassi completed his MSc in Strength and Conditioning at St Mary’s University studying the priming effect of heavy resisted sled sprints on skating sprints in ice hockey players. He is an Accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach (ASCC) with the UKSCA and an Elite Level 3 (EL3) coach with the ASCA. Lassi has published multiple academic research papers and he is also a visiting lecturer at St Mary’s University in Twickenham, UK.
