Arian is the Lead Performance Data Scientist at Brentford Football Club, and is currently completing a Professional Doctorate (PhD) at St Mary’s University. He specialises in performance data, applied analytics, modelling and data visualisation within elite sport. He has led the development and transformation of performance data systems, streamlining data processes to better answer performance questions, support decision-making, and identify actionable insights.
He is also the founder of Data in Sport Ltd (datainsport.com), where he collaborates with organisations globally to design and optimise their data workflow, reporting infrastructure, performance models and visualisations. His work spans data integration, dashboard development, predictive modelling, automated reporting, and the visualisation of complex and live datasets into intuitive and impactful outputs. His experience working across diverse environments has enabled him to develop a practical and innovative approach to solving performance challenges and communicating insights effectively.
