We are seeking an experienced practitioner who has worked extensively with high performance sporting teams.
You will be an integral and valued member of a closely-knit high-performance team, collaborating with Coaches specialised in alpine, snowboarding and strength & conditioning, and support personnel spanning various science and medicine roles. Together our goal is to assist athletes in achieving podium success on the global stage.
Over the last two Olympic and Paralympic cycles, GB Snowsports has experienced unprecedented success at the highest levels of sport and is seeking an exceptional physiotherapist to form part of the core delivery team towards the French Alpes 2030 Winter Paralympic Games.

Role requirements:

A typical UK-based working week would be Monday to Friday, providing remote support to athletes and coaches, alongside delivering physiotherapy services to para-athletes. UK-based training and rehabilitation support is primarily delivered through the High-Performance Centre at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre (near Marlow) and the Manchester Institute of Health & Performance (MIHP), where athletes access strength and conditioning, specialist physiotherapy, and rehabilitation services.

The role also involves close collaboration with colleagues at the sportscotland institute of sport (SIS) to ensure a consistent and aligned approach to healthcare provision across the high-performance system, while contributing to a positive experience for athletes and coaches.
In addition, the role requires international travel to training camps and competitions. This is expected to total approximately 100 days per year, with most of the travel taking place during the winter season from November to April. Key events during the 2026/27 season include the FIS Para Alpine and Para Snowboard World Championships, scheduled for March 2027.
