Sameer is in his eighth season as a sports physical therapist with the Orlando Magic, bringing 20 years of experience in sports medicine and performance. Before joining the Magic, he served as Clinical Supervisor at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital for over 12 years and as Director of Rehabilitation, Sports Science & Analytics at St. John’s College High School baseball in Washington, DC. He helps athletes achieve mental and physical balance through movement optimization, musculoskeletal ultrasound diagnostics, and data driven strategies designed to enhance performance, recovery, and long term health, while continuously seeking innovative methods to unlock a competitive edge in sport. Throughout his career, Sameer has worked with the U.S. Marines, triathletes, and elite athletes across high school, collegiate, and professional levels, including MLB, NFL, NBA, and MLS organizations. He earned his undergraduate and doctorate degrees from Boston University. Grounded in a passion for movement, learning, and meaningful relationships, he values growth and embracing an active, healthy lifestyle shared among family and friends.
