Lee Nobes is a seasoned English physiotherapist with a distinguished career in elite football having held pivotal roles at top Premier League clubs, including Manchester City and Liverpool FC. Nobes began his professional journey in the lower tiers of English football, working with Bury FC and Oldham Athletic. These early experiences provided him with a solid foundation in sports medicine and physiotherapy before progressing to working as part of a larger multidisciplinary team within the Premier League.

In 2007, he joined Manchester City, where he spent 11 years. He played a significant role in City’s medical team during some of the club’s most successful periods, including multiple Premier League title wins. He works closely with the performance and rehabilitation teams at the AXA Training Centre, ensuring players receive optimal care for preparation, recovery, and injury rehabilitation.

In 2024, following a restructuring of Liverpool’s medical and performance departments, Nobes was appointed as Head of Rehabilitation Physiotherapy. This role focuses on overseeing players’ rehabilitation processes, working in tandem with other specialists to ensure a holistic approach to player health. As a member of the wider team that won the Champions League and successive Premier Leagues, Nobes was able to add these to his successes to complete another ambition of winning the Premier League within another English club.
