Craig Atkins is a former Royal Navy aircraft engineer turned sports scientist and strength and conditioning (S&C) coach. At university, Craig had the opportunity to learn from some remarkable practitioners, and he eventually convinced Al Murdoch, a renowned coach at Speedworks Bath, that his aircraft engineering skills were transferable to sprint biomechanics. He secured an internship with Alan, which lasted two years and helped propel his career forward.
Today, Craig is the Academy Lead Sports Scientist and S&C Coach at Exeter City Football Club, where he applies his knowledge and experience to help athletes improve their performance on the field.
